The third floor of this townhome featured a large master bedroom with en suite bath. The bathroom, however, had not been updated in 30 years. A low vanity and little room to maneuver did not suit the homeowners’ needs. Borrowing space from a closet, LMD enlarged the room to accommodate a larger shower and an asymmetrical tub which allowed for easier access in and out of the tub. A longer 36” high, double bowl vanity was installed, with greater storage and expansive mirrored medicine cabinets. Careful thought was given to adding accommodations for aging in place with a touch of contemporary flair.
